Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Full-Time)
Department: 911 Addressing / Environmental / Emergency Management
The County is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations across multiple departments, including 911 Addressing, Environmental Services, and Emergency Management.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer and route incoming phone calls; respond to inquiries professionally
• Greet visitors and provide assistance as needed
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email correspondence
• Draft documents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records
• Perform filing, scanning, and copying of documents (digital and physical)
• Order office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment
• Assist with creation of signage for addressing and other departmental needs
• Support general office operations and administrative projects
Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide high-quality public service
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with database systems such as Microsoft Access preferred
Education Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
