  • Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Full-Time)
    Department: 911 Addressing / Environmental / Emergency Management

    The County is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations across multiple departments, including 911 Addressing, Environmental Services, and Emergency Management.

    Key Responsibilities
    Answer and route incoming phone calls; respond to inquiries professionally 
    Greet visitors and provide assistance as needed 
    Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email correspondence 
    Draft documents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records 
    Perform filing, scanning, and copying of documents (digital and physical) 
    Order office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment 
    Assist with creation of signage for addressing and other departmental needs 
    Support general office operations and administrative projects 

    Qualifications
    Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively 
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide high-quality public service 
    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
    Familiarity with database systems such as Microsoft Access preferred 

    Education Requirements
    High school diploma or GED required

  • Burleson County Justice of the Peace Pct #4 in Somerville, is now accepting applications for a part-time Justice Court Clerk position.

    Persons must have a high school diploma. Must be have proficient computer skills. Applicants must be self-motivated, able to efficiently multitask, & have good people skills. Knowledge and experience with court software is a plus.

    All applicants will need to be able to pass a criminal background and have a clean driving record.
